Building on techniques learned in Fabrication 1, students in Fabrication 2 will be practicing the basics of hand fabricating and soldering. Class fee $275.00 includes all materials. Tools are provided for student use. Fabrication 2 is a prerequisite for Open Studio classes or Independent Studio hours.
Fabrication 2 will cover wire forming, work hardening, annealing, basic ring construction, soldering and bezel setting a stone. Students will create a variety of patterned wire, and make several pieces of jewelry including cuff and bangle bracelets, band or stack rings and a bezel set stone ring. Fabrication 2 is taught by Julie Sanford. Class limit is 8. Fabrication 1 is a prerequisite for taking Fabrication 2
Classes meet weekly on Tuesday Evenings from 6-9pm
Cancellation Policy: Classes and workshops are fully refundable (minus a $25 processing fee) with a minimum 48 hours notice. Cancellations received later than 48 hours will not receive a refund. We will not issue a refund if you do not show to your class.
Workshops and classes are for students 18 and up. Minors can register with prior approval and parental consent.
