Fabrication 2

Building on techniques learned in Fabrication 1, students in Fabrication 2 will be practicing the basics of hand fabricating and soldering. Class fee $250.00 includes all materials. Tools are provided for student use. Fabrication 2 is a prerequisite for Guided Studio classes, Open Studio hours, and Fabrication 3.

Fabrication 2 will cover wire forming, work hardening, annealing, basic ring construction, soldering and bezel setting a stone. Students will create a variety of patterned wire, and make several pieces of jewelry including cuff and bangle bracelets, band or stack rings and a bezel set stone ring. Fabrication 2 is taught by Julie Sanford. Class limit is 8. Fabrication 1 is a prerequisite for taking Fabrication 2
